OHCE2023 Breakout Sessions: Unique Opportunities to Set You Up for Success!

Discover the Who, What, and Why Shaping Tomorrow’s Landscape

Looking for the perfect place for collaborative learning, networking and professional growth tailored to your needs? Well, look no further than the 2023 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE2023)!

You're not just learning from the best in the industry, either—you're mingling with fellow pros who "get" your day-to-day. Whether you're interested in marketing, human resources, finance, or operations, there's a session that speaks to you, your park, your bottom line, goals, and more. This is your opportunity to prepare for the future and to position your Outdoor Hospitality business for growth with best practices you can take home and immediately put into action.

This year’s sessions range from improving your operations to leveraging technology and automation, and every session promises to offer actionable solutions to the challenges you are facing today. This year's lineup is more diverse than ever, curated specifically from accumulated attendee feedback; we’ve identified the gaps and filled them with expert knowledge. The range of educational sessions is truly unmatched and OHCE2023 will be the year of unique possibilities.

In addition to more than 40 breakout sessions, attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in conversations that are at the forefront of our industry, featuring top outdoor hospitality leaders.

Here are three panels to look forward to:

Outdoor Hospitality and the Future Panel (Tuesday, November 7). Moderated by Paul Bambei, this engaging conversation features Toby O'Rourke, President and CEO of KOA; Rafael Correa, Chief Financial Officer at Blue Water Development Corp.; Amir Harpaz, Owner at Harp Development and multi-park owner; Ali Rasmussen, Co-Founder and CEO of Spacious Skies Campgrounds; and Todd Wynne-Perry, Managing Director at Horwath HTL and CEO & Founder of Montare Hospitality Advisors, LLC. This blue-ribbon panel will discuss where outdoor hospitality is going and how we’re ensuring our members are part of it now and in the future.

The Outdoor Hospitality Industry Research Panel (Tuesday, November 7). Moderated by David Basler, attendees will get first access to two of the biggest research reports in the outdoor hospitality industry: the 2024 Outdoor Hospitality Industry Outlook Report (sponsored by Newbook) and the 2023 Generational Camping Report (sponsored by RMS North America and RVshare). The discussion with these industry thought leaders will focus on the critical insights and key takeaways from these two reports—data you can use to make smart business decisions in 2024.

National ARVC is advocating for you. But how does advocacy affect you? And what are the issues we are focused on in Washington DC?  Our annual Advocacy Panel (Weds., November 8), moderated by Jaqueline Gloria, will focus on advocacy wins we can all celebrate and the discussion of what’s to come in 2024. Featured on this panel will be our own advocacy expert, Jeff Sims, along with state executive Dee Witting, lobbyist Ed Hanes and campground owner Sean Vidrine.
