How to Nominate and Vote for ARVC Leadership Positions
Are you ready to get more involved in the outdoor hospitality industry so you can share your expertise and make your voice heard? Here are three opportunities that will soon be available along with details on how you can make your voice heard. Those elected will each serve a three-year term beginning on November 11, 2021.
Vote for your ARVC Board of Directors Representatives
Voting: Elections for the available seats on the ARVC Board of Representatives will take place this fall. Online voting begins on August 11, 2021, which also is the day absentee ballots will be mailed. The deadline for absentee ballots is October 28, 2021 and there will be caucus and in-person voting on November 10, 2021 at the Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo in Raleigh, N.C.
If you are a member of the ARVC Supplier Council, you can submit a nomination to serve on the ARVC Board of Directors.
Nomination deadline: September 18, 2021
Documentation required: A letter indicating your acceptance of your nomination, your biography, a headshot and a personal statement highlighting why you want to represent the Supplier Council on the ARVC Board of Directors.
Voting: All voting for the Supplier Council Representative to the ARVC Board of Directors will take place online. Voting will take place from Sept. 25-Oct. 25. Supplier Council members will receive an email with voting instructions and links.
If you are a Young Professional between the ages of 18 and 40 who works at an ARVC member-park, you can submit a nomination to become the Social Chair of the ARVC Young Professionals group.
Nomination deadline: August 30, 2021
Documentation required: Submit a letter expressing your interest in being nominated for this position along with a resume describing your qualifications.
Voting: Online voting opens on September 9, 2021 and closes on October 25, 2021. In-person voting will also take place at the Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo in Raleigh, N.C. on November 9, 2021.
